Quadna Golden Hosts Power Focused Quadna University

A power-themed Quadna University took place on Thursday, August 20 at our Golden, Colo., branch. To kick off the event, more than 30 power industry customers enjoyed brief tours lead by Chad Post, Lauren Doyle, Rob Sjomeling, John Santi and Shawn Setelin. During the tour, Quadna’s engineering staff discussed our history, quality system and engineering and fabrication experience, and fielded questions about our capabilities. After breakfast and the tour, participants moved to the American Mountaineering Center in downtown Golden for classes on basic and advanced hydraulics (Brock Tisdale), Babbitt bearing repair (Jim Jenkins), power facility rotating equipment upgrades (Bill Girard, ITT Goulds), power industry pump applications (Bob Kresl), power generation sealing technologies (Scott Howard, John Crane) and pump troubleshooting (Paul Hanson). One participant complimented the team, saying, “Quadna did a great job putting together this training course!”
